Hopefully Iiyama will see some sense and drop the price, but you're better off sticking to the 24-inch AOC 2434PW or the 22-inch Benq G2200HD. If it were priced at around £150, it would be a must-have, but at this price you can pick up a stunning IPS panel - albeit in a 22-inch form factor. Dell U2311H 23' monitor: same as the 2211H, but a 23' panel (same resolution, so a larger dot pitchmay be a consideration depending on your eyes).

This page will help you to locate the replacement LCD for your Dell laptop. Iiyama have, unfortunately, truly priced themselves out of the market with this particular monitor. Select your Dell product: INSPIRON, LATITUDE, XPS, VOSTRO, PRECISION, MINI, STUDIO, ADAMO, ALIENWARE, CHROMEBOOK, VENUE, INSPIRON CHROMEBOOK, WYSE, G, STREAK. Good for Tetris and bank statements, not for a lot else.
DELL E207 DISPLAY SCREEN WINDOWS
I've just stopped to try this, and it looks utterly absurd, like you've got a Windows 7-powered monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey on your desk. It's got a fairly thin bezel, so you can multi-monitor your PC, if you've got a desk the size of the state of Montana that is.Īnd if you want to, you can rotate the whole thing 90° as well. There are a couple of nice features on the Iiyama though. Blacks were impressive, though, and it does come with the HD 1,920 x 1,080 resolution.

The viewing angle was quite appalling, too. I set the res at 1280x768 at 16:9 aspect ratio and had no problems with it at that resolution. Colours looked washed-out and, and there was some smearing on the screen in our response time tests. When I bought my Sceptre x22wg, 22' wide screen I attached it to my room mates Dell that used the FX5200 fanless AGP video card to ,ake sure the display worked upon arrival. I've had my Dell monitor for a good few years and its never done me wrong, however a month or so ago I managed to 'lock' it accidentally so it puts a padlock symbol on the screen when I hit some buttons and I also cant in any way power it off, I've lived with it since but its started to get on my nerves. In fact, when compared to the 22-inch Dell E207 I've been using for the past few months in the office, the display is far poorer.
